Libertà per Pinar Selek
Pinar è stata condannata all’ergastolo dopo l’ennesimo processo farsa.
Sabato 26 gennaio alle 14 tutte e tutti sotto l’ambasciata turca, via Palestro 28, Roma.
Pinar Selek è una femminista antimilitarista pacifista turca perseguitata da 14 anni dallo Stato turco, in seguito a una ricerca sociologica da lei condotta nel 1996 sulle condizioni del conflitto armato tra la Turchia e il Kurdistan e le possibilità di soluzione. Nonostante varie assoluzioni, lo Stato turco ha riaperto il suo caso per l’ennesima volta e il 24 gennaio 2013 la 12° Corte penale di Istanbul dovrà pronunciarsi sulla richiesta di 36 anni di carcere.
In tutti questi anni Pinar non ha mai smesso di lottare, non è mai rimasta in silenzio, non si è richiusa in casa, e per questo viene perseguitata.
La sua lotta è la lotta di tutte noi, la sua libertà è la nostra libertà! Con la nostra solidarietà possiamo impedire questa condanna! ll loro accanimento non ha limiti. Neanche la nostra solidarietà. Nella sua lotta per la libertà, Pinar Selek non è sola!
Saremo presenti al processo insieme alle delegazioni francese e tedesca.

We support Pinar Selek – Call for solidarity!
Pinar Selek is a well-known feminist, anti-militarist and peace activist from Turkey who has been undergoing an unfair trial for the past 14 years. Since 1998, the Turkish State has literally persecuted Pinar for her sociological research on the conditions and possible resolutions of the armed conflict between the Turkish State and Kurds. Despite repeated acquittals, she is due to be tried again on the 24th January 2013, when the 12th Penal Court of Istanbul shall pronounce the final judgement on the request of life time sentence. During all these years, Pinar has never given up her fight, never kept silent or remained quiet at home. This is perhaps the real reason for her persecution by the Turkish State.
Her fight is our fight! Her freedom is our freedom!
With our solidarity, we can stop them! Their tenacity don’t have limits but our solidarity is also endless! Pinar is not alone in her fight for freedom! We will be there during the trial with a French and German delegation.
